Nana: Quilts~!!!! Lucky you~

Hi Nana, you can hand art and pictures on these as well, do it without putting holes in the wood, use rails to hang them on

Are you seeking decorating ideas that feature the wooden logs, or ideas to downplay or disguise the wood?
Hello Nana,
You could use coloured stain or wax on them or Chalk Paint or Whitewash them. You could use Horse Brasses or Old Farming/Gardening items to hook up on the timber. You could decorate as if a Hunting Lodge or Mountain Hide-away, or a Ranch House etc. Enjoy the Journey!...........
you can also take some roofing slate, and slide the edge in between logs that have a deep enough gap. they are wonderful for shelves!
Hang some beautiful quilts.
I have some wood placques that have the outline of forest animals on it.
A horse shoe coat hanger painted flat black would look good also.
A milk jug painted a nice robin's egg blue could hold umbrellas near the front door.
Any metal cut outs (like laser cut metal pieces) powder coated in black.
