Please let me know how to remove caulk around my bathtub that looks awful. Thank you!
Combine 2 parts vinegar and 1 part water in a spray bottle and spray the entire bathtub. Allow this soaking solution to sit in the tub for 15-20 minutes. For tough stains: place a towel soaked in a vinegar and baking soda paste or hydrogen peroxide onto the stain(s) and allow the towel to sit for up to 1-hour.
Here are a few options:
Steam clean
50/50 blue Dawn and white cleaning vinegar, let sit.
Lysol Power Scum cleaner in the blue trigger spray bottle with a Magic Eraser or a scrub brush.
Wet & forget shower for a slower, no scrub solution. You can use 2x a week to accelerate the cleaning process then once a week to keep it clean. NOTE: not marble safe.
Is it enameled steel/iron or is it acrylic/fiberglass?
I would use Comet on enamel. On the plastic I would use The Works (run the fan and wear gloves with this).
Is the mildew where the tub meets the wall finish? As in the caulk or grout?
I would use Zep spray mold killer if so. Wear old clothes, run the exhausts fan & wear gloves, when scrubbing it with an old toothbrush.

Hi Renee - This is the shower cleaner that we use to help keep grout and tiles clean and minimize the mildew - it works on kitchen grout too. I've also included a great article about mold if it's gone that far. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly
