You have “garden fencing” now & you want to make taller fencing from it?
What is it made from?
You will need upright posts evenly spaced and set in the ground where you want the fence. The fencing is stapled or wired to these posts. The posts can be wood or steel. Wood posts require digging narrow holes about 2 feet deep. The wooden posts are set plumb in the holes and concrete is poured around each post. The steel posts are usually driven into the ground with a special tool. In each case the posts must be longer than the fencing is tall. Below are photos of both types.
