You’re taking a patio table and putting it in your dining room? Is is metal? Does it have a pedestal base now? Does it have glass or metal mesh in the middle?
Im trying to determine What one can fasten new legs to, and where they can be fastened.

i am picturing designing/making one from metal plumbing pipe and pipe fittings. Could be designed for a round or rectilinear top. Only drawback is that the component costs start to add up pretty rapidly.
