I used the same color paint as the original color, but there’s a sheen to it that is not blending in. Thank you!

If it's been a long time since you originally painted your wall there is probably some changes that happened over time from dirt, smoke (even kitchen smoke if you are not a smoker) and sunlight. I think you can get a way with a small touch up like a nail hole but if you are touching up a larger area in the middle of a wall you will be able to see where you have attempted the touch up. It could also be a difference in the roller you used. I would paint the entire wall if possible.

Although the color is the same, you could be using a different texture or method. They all have to be the same. Such as eggshell with a roller. Check to make sure your touch up is either flat or eggshell. Others have a sheen.

Are you using sample paint? I did that recently and realized the sheen was different.
