How do I build an outdoor planter with ceramic tile sides?
Do I need to use cement board for the tiled area or can I tile on wood. I live in FL. and we get a LOT of rain.....but I'd like this to last.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Hi Merry you can tile on wood but I would definitely encourage you to use cement board as much as you can. It will definitely last longer.
You could also make a planter out of concrete! Then it’s definitely more permanent. There are lots of diy videos on making planters, bowls, urns, etc with concrete on the internet
You wouldn’t want to tile directly on wood as it expands and contracts with weather changes. There are lightweight concrete mixes out there, you’d have to do some searching.
