Keller Pest Control on Jul 23, 2012Fran they may not be spiders at all. They may be bag worms you need to identify that first. If they are bagworms the treatment now may be unsuccesful and not warranted. Call a tree person and get the info. I have been told that bagworms need to be treated before they are evident. You may need to wait for next year and treat before the season occurs. If they are spiders the best method it to treat the web itself. Most spiders reingest their web and will receive the chemical that way. Or by transfer from a bug caught in the web. Be careful of overspray on food plants and neighbors property. Do only on calm days less than 5-10 MPH on wind and wear proper protective clothing IE: hat goggles, long sleeves aand pants and gloves. Google to find best product I would suggest Tempirid.Helpful Reply
