Jeanette S on Sep 28, 2014N-O-T-H-I-N-G Christmas is EVER out of style...N-O-T-H-I-N-G! Use what you love! And this applies to pumpkins too that can be blue, gold, white or wrapped in sheets of music, BUT the plain old orange ones are BEAUTIFUL and always IN style...with or without a carved face!!Helpful Reply

Z on Sep 28, 2014We live in the country and a near by farmer keeps them in all their windows year around. Though there are different meanings the most common is the welcoming of family coming home. We do so at Christmas in our home as my Mom did, but I see no harm in this practice through out the year if you'd like. Personally, it brings a warm feeling when I see our neighbors home.Helpful Reply

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Sep 29, 2014Never out of style. My neighbor always has hers lit at night year round. There are many new styles of these lamps around. Many with LED bulbs that do not get hot and use a lot less electrical power. Much more safer as well. Just be sure that the bulbs do not get to hot and that they are mounted in such a fashion that they do not fall over and cause a fire.Helpful Reply
