What can I do to spruce up my bedroom

My husband had painted our bedroom an olive color and I don't like it, but since he did it out of the goodness of his heart, I don't want to change it totally. I have chosen an green apple color paint to brighten it up. What are some ideas I can do? I am thinking of using the bright green around the doorways. It is a small bedroom. Anything else? I was thinking of making some bright lines from the ceiling down for a idea too.

@Cindy ..I would go with a SOFT ' apple green" ( paler in color) , I have this shade in my own bedroom, paired with cream, grey and a very dark purple. It DOES work ! ( although my walls are cream ) I would paint the trim cream , and then use the apple green as an accent color to ' brighten things up .The two tones of green next to one another might not be pleasing to the eye.

I have had this color in two rooms of my house in the past. I had cream, grape, black and some other shades of green in a living room and brick red, mustard, burnt orange and brown in a bedroom. They both looked great.
