Painting crafts (wood) with Craftsmart/Folkart type of paint

This is an acrylic type of paint, is there something I can paint or spray over this craft paint to add gloss or a shine effect? Needing something that hopefully won't bubble or peel. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Water-based varnish is available in matt, semigloss or gloss finish for interior or exterior. I use it all the time on painted wood, metal or clay pots. Multiple coats of gloss will make your items very shiny - let dry between coats. Can be found at any craft store or Walmart in craft section. Some Dollar stores carry 2oz size bottles, Walmart has 8oz bottles - better buy if you are using a lot. Hope this helps

I often use a spray made by Folk-Art to add the desired finish to my projects. I have used it on wood and ceramics that I have painted with acrylic paint. I have bought it at Michaels, A.C.Moore and Walmart.

I also use a water-based varnish over the craft paints.....Numerous coats give a lacquer like finish.....

Purchase a polyacrylic varnish rather than a polyurethane varnish...I like Minwax.

I use the Folk Art spray in gloss over my painted wood and it looks great. No bubbles or peeling.
