You can put it on a table.
any sturdy table or planked sawhorses will work fine. I use my picnic table so I can keep the sawdust outside and it,s long enough to support boards. I use 2x4 cut offs to support the long boards
The saw is very heavy, so you will need a table or stand that can hold up its weight and that of the lumber you are sawing. We put ours on a couple of sawhorses with a heavy door on them and had it outside to do work on our house. Worked very well!
Answer this Hometalker's question!Did it come with the lower part that it shows in the picture? If it did, you should be able to put it anywhere you want to use it, just make sure it is sturdy and not delicate for the weight of the tool itself. Make sure you protect whatever surface you put it on from damage if you put it on a table. You could just get a couple of saw horses and a piece of thick plywood and turn it into a work table. If you get the collapsible saw horses, you could then store it broken down and out of the way in the basement or garage when you are not using it.
It can definitely go on a table top no problem. A stand is nice but not essential. Be sure to always think safety first. Wear eye protection always because there can be chips, splinters and dust particles that can get in your eyes. Be sure you don’t have any clothing that can get caught up in the blade, baggy sleeve, hanging strings and such. Make sure to always have the blade fully engaged before making your cuts...best of luck and stay safe. 😊
You can put it on a work bench or use it on the floor of your garage. As long as it's a sturdy and firm surface.
