How do I remove yellow stains where ice drops from ice maker?

The ice maker opening on my refrigerator door is yellow where the ice comes out. Its is probably from minerals but I have tried but cannot remove the stains. Any suggestions?

I would make a mixture of baking soda and white vinegar. Leave on the yellowness long enough to aid. If there is still residue try Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.

CLR is really good at removing mineral stains and calcium build. Up . You can buy it at most hardware stores and. HomeDepot

if it's yellowed plastic your probably not going to get it clean. Call the manufactor and see what they suggest. I think your stuck with it.

Could it be that the plastic has aged and naturally turned yellow? If unprotected from UV rays acrylic turns yellow. Is this a similar situation?

I clean the area and then apply vegetable or olive oil. It keeps it clean for a week or better.
