How to remove white powder left inside the glass oven door?
After cleaning the inside of my self cleaning oven I noticed white powdery substance inside the triple panel glass doors. How do I get it out.

Additionally -I clean my interior facing glass greasy build up very similar to how I clean my glass cooktop surface. I use the safety razor-to scrape way the heavy spattered grease and then use cream glass polish.

We just did this, but have a GE. The screws were very easy to see and we removed them and the door just came apart.
The white powder is magnesia, magnesium oxide. It's in there because it's resistant to heat and electrically nonconductive. Most electric stoves use 'calrod' style elements, which enclose the actual nichrome wire heating element in a thin steel tube packed with magnesia.
