Our tub is about 15 years old and has lost that original shine even after it has been cleaned. How can I get it back?

For my porcelain kitchen sink I was told to apply car wax. It worked but I would be very careful with a bathtub as the wax makes it very slippery. Good luck!

Hi. Fiberglass dulls after a while due to the water chemicals and the cleaning ones. Consider putting a clear coat on the tub. Buy and epoxy clear coat and follow the directions completely. That will bring back the shine permanently. Happy DIY'ing!

You might check into using clay bar to clean it. It's found in the automotive section.

My hubby uses Gel Gloss and it lasts for about a month or so.

We use Spar Wax; the kind used for boats.
