I'd try a heat gun...if that scares you, see if you can soften and loosen the glue with a hairdryer.
I agree! A heat gun or hair dryer on high should soften the glue. Make sure you scrape of all the glue before regluing.
Wood glue penetrates wood so the glued place is now stronger then the surrounding wood. It will most likely have to be cut apart.
If it is elmers wood glue just dampen it. If it is something stronger, there goo gone and painter strippers that also can help remove glues. These can be tedious because you will have scrap a little out apply move remover, then scrap out more till you get it loose enough to remove.
If it's real wood glue, water will work perfectly. If not use the dissolver corresponding with the glue (usually writen on the tube or pot... If you don't know it, try a sharp knife on the surface.
