How to clean faded leather sofa and apply color paste

My brown leather sofa is faded on the seating areas from use. I want to apply a polish or paste to darken it again. What is the best way to do this?

Use Neet's foot oil. Don't laugh, it is what my son used to oil his baseball glove. If you want to try something easier to find, try leather balm. I use it on my Coach handbags.

I agree with Nancy. I rode horses for years and we used neatsfoot oil on our saddles to keep them soft and supple. It will darken the leather slightly and also condition it. Look for it at tack shops that sell horse equipment. You also might try Murphy's Oil Soap. It works like saddle soap for conditioning leather and imparting a darkening effect. God luck!
