Below is a video that shows how to remove rust from a countertop. This happens to be a kitchen one, but it should also work on one in a bathroom. our mirror was desilvered at the bottom where it rested on the vanity top a few years ago. Home Depot was selling about 1” wide strips that had a mirror like finish, that could easily be attached to the bottom of the mirror. Made a big difference!Helpful Reply -

You can glue a frame right on the mirror. You will have to have a miter box to cut your frame if you want mitered corners or you could just make a square corner. Or you could use foam wood type for a frame.
