
Is there a way to remove mold from a board on a deck?

Hi, we just did this - use water and Oxy-Clean about a good scoop in a gallon of water. Buy a good really stiff brush, apply the water/oxyclean solution. Let set for about 15 minutes and scrub.You have to "really put your back into it" but it comes out great. Rinse and repeat. Suggest you treat that board first and check it after it drys.Helpful Reply -

The board may not have been totally sealed. Use Wet and Forget s safe mold controlHelpful Reply -

ZEP makes a good mold cleaner that you could use by hand or with a pressure washerHelpful Reply -

replace the one board. I suspect the used one had high moisture content.Helpful Reply -
