The deck was recently stained and one of the boards is turning black in color and it seems to be mold, but it is only on one of the deck board. Any ideas?

Hi, we just did this - use water and Oxy-Clean about a good scoop in a gallon of water. Buy a good really stiff brush, apply the water/oxyclean solution. Let set for about 15 minutes and scrub.

You have to "really put your back into it" but it comes out great. Rinse and repeat. Suggest you treat that board first and check it after it drys.

The board may not have been totally sealed. Use Wet and Forget s safe mold control

ZEP makes a good mold cleaner that you could use by hand or with a pressure washer

replace the one board. I suspect the used one had high moisture content.
