Christmas Ornament Wreath, what is best base?

I want an ornament wreath for front door, which base is better, styrofoam wreath, wire hanger or some other base? TXS

Styrofoam or even a heavy cardboard (if it won't get wet) would give you more surface to glue the ornaments to than a wire ring. -

Think of how heavy it will be to hang on your door and how you are going to hang it. I have used wire hangers and wreath made out of twigs and hung on the door knocker. Send us a picture when you're done! -

Styrofoam is the lightest - depends on how you want to cover it. Wire or twig wreaths work well too. -

One made of fake Christmas greens. At my local thrift store last week - $3.00. Then fasten the ornaments on.
