What's the best way to refresh bottle brush trees?

I have found some bottle brush trees, but they were packed away so tight that they don't have their shape any longer. I have tried just combing them with my fingers but I'm still having trouble getting them to look like anything.

Hi Julia If they are really stiff you could try setting them someplace warm like in a sunny window. They may loosen up with the warmth and you can then attempt to shape them again. If they're the type of brush that is more wiry, they should be pliable enough to manipulate. You just need to be gentle. Best wishes!

maybe try putting them in the bathroom with moisture so it loosens the material .

Okay, sorry, I'm no help here..we have actual trees/shrubs that are called bottle brush trees, and I thought you were looking for help on those, but when I saw that they were "packed away"...well, obviously, I misunderstood!
