Anyone have any ideas for repurposing those plastic red coffee cans?

    Store brown sugar to help keep it soft, use to sprinkle lawn seed or fertilizer, use to salt driveway/walkways in winter, store leftover paint, hubby uses for nuts/bolts/screws, etc. Just a few ideas.

    I use them to store EVERYTHING from food staples like dried beans, rice, and flour to odd & end nails and screws. You can paint them to make them look better or use as is. They're sealable to keep critters from getting in (I once had a mice infestation) and stuff from spilling out.

    Compost container in the kitchen, keep the lid on so fruit flies do not take over.
