Buy a had held glass cutter. Make the hole at the very bottom of the glass. Run the wire from bottom to the top. Good Luck!
I have never had luck with this! Following to see if someone else has actually tried the tips and had them work!
I use a glass saw.
You need a glass drill bit. Pour a steady stream of water on the bottle as you are drilling. This is a 2 person job (at least I can't do it by myself).
