Color combinations for Christmas

I'm using a clear bell cloche, about 14 inches high, and filling it with clear warm white fairy lights along with copper and gold ornaments. What other color would make this POP! My color scheme in LR is basically sage green and the room is filled with antiques, mostly oak. My tree is traditional green with warm white lights and mostly white and crystal ornaments. Any suggestions are immensely appreciated!

Would apple green blend with your sage green? I too have sage green in my home and have added that bright green in the last couple of years to give it some pop and update it. Good luck!

I may live in an alternate universe but I love sage green, copper and that antique purple color. (It's the only way I know how to describe the color). It is not a bright purple but soft and has some gray hues to it. Now that would pop! Sorry if it sounds weird but I love purple anything!!!!!!

I would use mercury glass ornaments with your colors .Here is a trick you can try .Go to any second hand store and buy up some old Christmas bulbs put them n warm water and wash off the paint they are all mercury glass underneath the paint .Cheap and easy

You could try apartmenttherapy.com which takes you to Sherwin-Williams paint. There are paint "chips" that you could experiment with them and you can manipulate the colors you chose into the shade you wish. Interesting I think. Another way is to use spools of thread for your combination. Hope this might help. (I have even gone to a Joanne's Fabric and match colors there. ( : > ) Please post a picture of the finished product.
