Does anyone know how to take mardi gras beads off the string that it comes on?

Wood burning tool, solder tool or exacto knife... depending. mostly it's just a string through plastic beads.

You can not restring them because they are glued to the string...however I saw a Mardi Gras necklace that was awesome..they took a long necklace and cut another up into short pieces and twisted them in intervals and made the most beautiful Mardi Gras necklace. I also use them for curtain tie backs.

do you know if there is anything that will dissolve the glue

They're formed on the string, even if you cut between the beads you still won't have holes thru the individual beads.

if she drilled holes in the beads she could use string or wire.

I tried everything...the plastic is formed around the string. Nothing will work i guess!

Could you use 26 gauge wire and make a wire wrapped bracelet with madris gras beads?
