I live in an apartment and need creative, inexpensive ideas for decorating a long hallway wall leading to the bedrooms.

I would say a gallery photo wall is always easy and personalizes a rental space.
You could do removable wallpaper.
I saw an idea here on hometalk for creating a fake window at the end of a hall if you don't have a closet there.
