Do you have natural light? I’d so make it light and bright. If not, maybe more of a dark, cozy look. But the question, as above, what are you using it for? -

Hi, Ms.cassie07! Paint is the quickest way to transform a space. If you don't know where to start, find a throw pillow or accessory that you love, something that says "fresh and modern" to you. Pull a color from that item for your walls. If your budget allows, add a new rug in the same palette. You can even paint or slipcover your existing furniture if it needs a new look.Is there brick or paneling in the room? Consider painting it a complementary color. For a bigger change, you can use an easy DIY product like AirStone (faux stacked stone) or Stikwood (peel and stick shiplap or reclaimed wood) to create an on-trend accent wall.If you want more specific advice on colors or furniture arrangement, post a picture of your current room and I'm sure Hometalkers will chime in!
