How do I get glitter vinyl to stick to paper mache'?

I have three paper mache boxes to glue together to make a money box for a wedding. I cannot get the glitter vinyl to stick, it peels right off and at 14.95 a roll it's to expensive to waste. Can anyone help?

I would use Red Line double stick tape. It is SUPER strong. You can get it in different widths or in sheets. Any craft store should have it.

I would try Mod Podge . Brush mod podge on service area you want glitter, then sprinkle your glitter and then let dry. Hope it works. This would be where I would start. If you can't get Mod Podge, use white glue.
