How can I piece back broken pieces of my Murano glass figurine?

The head piece of my Italian Murano glass snail figurine broke off from its body after it fell. I don't want to throw it away because of its sentimental value.
What is the most effective way of putting the pieces back together?

Get you a bottle of Gorilla Glue super glue. Dries clear and dries in 3-5 seconds. I use it for almost everything that needs repaired.

My daughter had a Murano glass paintbrush from Venice that broke. After trying several glues that didn't work, I finally tried Devcon 2 Ton Expoxy. It is a 2 part clear epoxy that is amazing. I got it at Ace Hardware (about 7$) or it is available on Amazon. It gave me a seamless repair that is really strong. I also use it to glue glassware together for garden glass flowers. They can get heavy and it holds. I swear by this stuff :)

Look into Bondic at Bondic.com. This was originally dental sealant. It doesn't harden until you put the uv light on it. The stuff comes looking like a pen. Glue on the back end light on the front end...and both parts can be replaced individually if you need to.
