If you are working on a small item ... use the small glue gun....and the smallest tip that it comes with..go slow and let the gun get totally hot before you start (if the glue is not ready.. you push harder on the trigger and then you get a big glop of glue... which is hard to take off once it is on there. Rest your glue gun on a pie tin or silicone mat (made for that purpose) and keep a damp towel handy to wipe the tip on to keep it clean. -
