I am looking for ideas to make name plaques for each room in the house

I want to use brackets, cup hooks and unfinished wood plaques to make room plaques ie. kitchen, bathroom, bedroom.

I did something similar using wooden letters from the craft store. You can paint or stain the plaque and letters to match your décor, or go with any of the hundreds of options. That's the wonderful thing about DIY crafting...it comes from your heart!

You can try small chalk boards and use stencils to paint which room it pertains to.
