they are old medal milk crates they do not have dividers

Lots of possibilities. Floating side tables or book/nik nak shelves (attached directly to wall sidways), Stacked with a reclaimed wood top as an end table or outdoor table. The question is what drew you to them? How did they make you feel? AND... What do you think?
