Try to find a picture of your grandparents or great grandparents, basically the two people that started this family reunion . You could scan it in to your computer and print out on iron transfer paper for t-shirt or stickers for water bottles. You could add graphics saying ********* family reunion 2017 and depending on your family sense of humor you could put these 2 are to blame or because these 2 fell in love.
If you would like to put together a lasting mementos that includes all your family members to give to the Grandparents or Great Grandparents...buy a few yards of white cotton fabric, wash and iron your fabric and then cut squares, size of your choice like 8x8 or 12x12. Pass out these fabric squares to all family members and ask them to sign, date, etc. using a fine Sharpie permanent marker. If they like add anything they want to their square like doodle art, etc. Request the family return the squares to you and you then have the squares made into a quilt. Pick pretty fabrics to add to your quilt. Also you can buy a fabric transfer medium (craft stores) and add pictures from the past to your quilt. This quilt will be handed down from family to family and will be a family reunion memento that will last for many years to come!!!
Get wood and glue and tell everyone to bring a copy of a child good pic and makes wood pictures they are easy to make and you can transfer a picture onto the wood or take a group photo and get the image onto the wood
Take an old child's puzzle, cover the piece with cool scrap book paper. Print a phrase about family and affix to the paper. Glue on magnet to back. The shiny side of puzzle may need a light sand. Will recycle old puzzles, be unique and if you wanted even be a craft table for people to assemble at the reunion. Imagine the memories being made crafting with second cousins!
Ask everyone to scan and email you photographs of their family. Put them all together on one cd/photo collage and make a copy for each family member
Custom printed tshirts. You can diy by printing info (family name, Reunion, date, etc.) on iron-on printing paper on your computer, then iron it onto tshirts.
