The drop cloths come in different sizes and widths, they are Cotten fibers. Cotten takes fabric dye very well. The slip covers can be fitted, or non fitted. The non fitted gets draped across the couch, and the fabric is tucked in thethe back of the seat cushion and continues over the cushion to the floor, the other half goes over the back cushion and should go to floor. There are spiral pins that will keep the cover in place.
A fitted slip cover will hug the lines of the existing couch, and you may need to replicate the existing covers by sewing them.
There should be videos on you tube that you can view.
