Modge Podge photo to wood

I keep seeing it every where, but can't seem to find a reliable answer/tutorial for this project. I am hoping to make a few for Christmas gifts. Thanks!!

This site will tell you how to do this project applying the actual photo.http://homeguides.sfgate.com/mounting-photos-wood-mod-podge-92031.html This site will tell you how to do this project if you want to transfer the image onto the wood. http://blog.consumercrafts.com/decor-home/photo-transfer-to-wood-video/ They each have their uses--either a direct photo to wood or a transfer of an image. They each look pretty easy and don't take a lot of time. Hope these were helpful.
