I dont think you can spray paint foam. I think you might have to hand paint it becuse all the paint i know that in spray paint form eats at it

I was told by an employee at A.C. Moore that Testors Model Car Paint, in the spray paint version, is the only spray paint she knows of that works on styrofoam. If it doesn't sound familiar, when you see it, you'll go, oh yeah, my brother had the little bottles of this paint for his plastic model car kits. It has been around a long time. The spray paint cans are small & not exactly inexpensive so use your coupons.

In the florist business, we use a spray paint directly on flower petals. It's called Design Master Colortool. It will also spray paint ribbon and lace, etc. I seem to remember using it on foam floral bases and embellishments with great results!

This summer my husband used regular spray paint on styrofoam cooler to make a flower pot. It did not melt. Good luck.

I believe Hobby Lobby carries a spray paint specifically for styrofoam.
