Question on glass cutters

I would like to purchase a glass cutter but have no idea what kind or brand I should consider. Can you all give me suggestions? Thanks in advance.

It depends on what you'll be cutting and your comfort level in cutting glass. I use a Toyo pistol-grip cutter with an oil reservoir, but you could use a conventional cutter dipped in oil; the conventional non-oiled type is probably more durable. The Toyo brand is not cheap but is IMHO the best. Donna (previous comment) has the best idea, though!

Bead Board looks great. It use to be common practice in many parts of the country. Clear coat it with polyeurathene looks great.

Go to a place that sells stained glass supplies. They'll have good quality ones. Buy one that has an oil reserve.
