What can i use to polish carved cow bone?

If you have access to a bench grinder: White compound on a new cotton buff.You can use pa fine grit of steel wool to polish the bone such as 00 or 000.Helpful Reply -

Wow! You carved a cow bone? That sounds like a really cool project! I hope you share pictures when it is done.Since I know nothing about bone carving, I looked online and found a tutorial. It's used for polishing metals usually in jewelry making. It has a bit of wax and grit in it to polish the surface of the bone. https://www.gesswein.com/c-217-compounds.aspxYou might find that the steel wool works fine. Please wear a dust mask when you work with bone.Helpful Reply -
