Move the tv to the wall. Downsize from a couch to a loveseat or couple of chairs. Small end tables and no coffee table. All these without a photo. If you post a picture, specifics would be easier.
Draw it to scale on graph paper & design a functional layout.
Sheryl: A photo would help... but, the best way to "rearrange" is to declutter!
Smaller furniture pieces would make the room look and feel bigger. Also a light color. If you have a solid uninterrupted wall put your tv there. That will unblock your window and add light to your room. As you haven't provided a picture that is the best way to go from my point of view.
I don’t know what kind of furniture you already have, if you have a largish couch, that’s fine. But if you have large recliners or large chairs, remove those and add more feminine lighter chairs a smaller leggy coffee table, small side tables for lamps, and a dresser with lots of drawers for the TV. Place tv and dresser on longest wall, couch across from it . Chairs either both on one side or across from each other. Declutter!!
