How can I store all of my jewelry??

Has anyone created a DIY storage unit for beautifully and neatly storing their jewelry? I want to eliminate jewelry boxes and be able to see all my jewelry without taking up space! Just looking for a creative way to make this happen! Thanks!

I did see one project on here that was cool...a lady made a jewelry cabinet in her bathroom door with one of those cheapy long mirrors. It was very nice, I just don't do jewelry that much ;)
I store many of my necklaces and bracelets on s-hooks on tension rods across the window frame in my bathroom. Would work in a bedroom window, too.
My darling husband but out between the studs of my closet and built a box insert that I added hooks to and added my “basket shelves”. The door has hooks for necklaces. The front dolr became my floor length mirror. Love it!
I use plastic bead boxes for all my jewelry. I keep earrings in the individual compartments so they never get mixed up. I keep them organized by color.
