Hello Lvess28, Your best bet is to use paint especially made for cement. There are a few colors to choose from. You can buy it at your local home improvement stores like Home Depot, Menard's and Lowe's. If you're painting a floor or sidewalk, I recommend screwing a broom handle into the paint roller. Gloss is given to paint by adding an enamel. The enamel is also a hardener. More gloss, more damage resistance. Also enquire about iron filings to go in the paint to make the blackboard magnet attractive. Double the recommended amount per gallon for good magnetic attraction.
