I want to paint my old sunmica table . If not what else I can do for makeover?

You should be able to paint it. Fill those gaps with wood putty, then sand down for a smooth finish. Just be sure to use a good primer and you should be able to paint it however you like! You can stencil, decoupage, mosaic, or put pretty much anything on it to change the look.

  I would think so! Give it a good sanding and cleaning. Put whatever you want on it - wrapping paper, photos, magazine photos, comic book covers, etc. I would suggest using Envirotex Lite - it's easy to mix and self-levels to a good thickness. They use it for bar tops and I've put it over my kitchen countertops so I'm sure a table would be no problem!

Yes! After you fill the gaps, sand, prime, then paint: remember to apply 6-7 coats of PolyAcrylic for a hard, shiny, durable finish....

  @jules o' boyle I was curious too so I *googled* it. Sunmica appears to be a popular brand of laminate in India.

After primer coating on sun mica I had peeling of primer and which makes the paint gripped on sun mica sheets
