Tracy search here or pinterest (lots of posts) or google on DIY how to antique furniture with paint. There are so many variations and techniques that it depends on look you are going for. Keep looking at pictures until you find style antiquing you want then look up how to do and go for it! I distressed my unfinished cabinets after adding molding. First I painted an ant. white, then I took a caramel glaze and dry brushed it on lightly wherever I wanted it, then in molding and a few areas I painted it on heavily. then took clean rags after letting sit for a few mins and wiped off excess. If I had areas that I felt had too much glaze I dry brushed some of the antique white over them . Just kept playing with until I was happy with look I got. But so many ways--painting and putting wax on areas then a different color top paint then scraping off wax so bottom color shows through. Painting and using antique waxes on, crackle finishes etc. Post pictures when you are done would love to see.
