    If they are fabric you can use fabric paint and brush it on but you should check and see if the sun damaged the fibers, it may be easier to buy some upholstery material or hammock string and replace the slings.

    Sorry Mallory, but fabric paint won't help on vinyl. Depending on how intense you want the colour of your chairs, I would suggest using the spray paint for plastic by Krylon or Rust-Oleum. They come in a wide range of colours, and they adhere beautifully to items such as your vinyl mesh. You will of course have to clean them really well, I suggest using vinegar. You will also need to tape off the metal bases of the chairs. I hope that this helps. Take care, and good luck. :)
