William on Jul 05, 2016Most of the time the kick boards are the same color/woodgrain as the cabinets. I also have seen them painted black to hide scuffs as Debbie states.Helpful Reply

April smith holden on Jul 05, 2016My daughter repainted her kitchen and use a lite brown and black( I know, it sounded depressing to me too) but she painted cabinets brown and kickboards black. It was so pretty; not dark or depressing. Just a different option.Helpful Reply
