What type of paint for kitchen cabinets that doesn't require sanding?

kitchen cabinets are notoriously dirty and greasy from years of cooking and that stuff going into the air... you would do yourself a big favor to de-grease and to lightly sand .. or you may paint and end up with peeling paint...

  Chalk paint and use a good poly for a final coat not the wax they recommend or you’ll be repainting and touching up soon from the constant use

i just heard of something called liquid sandpaper. havent had a chance to check it out yet, but a friend used it on her kitchen cabinets. to soon to tell how well it worked.
