I want to spray the coffee pot urn with heat resistant spray paint color white, then once it’s dry, spray agin with regular pink spray paint. I plan to use it only one time. I need hot water for tea. Do you think the hot water will be safe to drink? Toxic free??? Thank you.
I want to spray the coffee pot urn with heat resistant spray paint. The heat resistant paint only comes in 3 colors: black, blue or white, then once the coffee pot is dry, spray it again with regular spray paint In pink. I plan to use the coffee pot only one time for an event. I need to use the coffee pot for hot water tea. I do not want to brew coffee. Do you know if the painted coffee pot would be safe for hot water will be safe To drink? Toxic free??? Thank you.
I would be hesitant to do that. The regular pink spray paint may not take the heat since it's on the outside of the heat resistant. You would need to check paint brands but most spray paint is toxic as far as food goes.
Obviously you're wanting this pink for a special event. Maybe you could check on getting a glass carafe for the event it wouldn't clash with anything being clear.
