Take Thomas to the local hardware store where you buy paint. Many of them scan the color and can mix it up for you and match it perfectly.

The other thing is to check out the paint chips. I could tell you it's "Blue sky morning blue" but paint manufacturers call their paints by names that aren't consistent across the industry. The only way to match the color perfectly is to either have the paint guys at the hardware store crank up their computer (and they match the paint at no additional cost) or know what the Pantene color is.

You can, basically, use a royal blue.

the paint store can match your color if you bring a piece of the train in! We've done it with several things and it turned out great!

Here is a step by step YouTube guide to painting Thomas The Tank Engine and midway through, the blue used is referred to as a medium blue. Lighter than Navy, darker than Sky, maybe like a colonial blue?
