How can I mimic Brick Anew Twilight Taupe?

Love brickanews finish & twilight taupe color for my fireplace but its under 20 sq ft & I can't rationalize spending $200 that covers 60 sq ft when I only need enough for 20 sq ft! Anyone out there have any info on what colors & finish they use to achieve that look?

Brick a new is a brand of paint. Go to a paint store or Home Depot. They have sample jars for under $3. They also have a color match machine. It reads a sample color and duplicates it. Buy a quart not a gallon.

Hello, My fireplace was the deep red color that they used a long time ago and I hated it. I first painted it white and then went over it with poised taupe from shermin williams and then I too a damp rag and gently wiped a little bit off. You can buy the poised taupe in the color to go size which is a quart size and they have their paint on sale all the time. I only used 1 of the colors to go size. They also have a twilight grey. Here is a pic of my new to me fireplace.

A quart will probably be enough, but make sure you keep what’s left for touch up later, or get an extra sample size. Sample size is great for trying out paints, too when you are having trouble making up your mind. ☺️
