I am a little confused...if the surface is smooth I think the only way it would become rough textured is if you are spraying too much paint at one time without letting it dry. Maybe less spray paint, in shorter sprays? Or try a different brand of spray paint. This should not be happening. Good luck!Helpful Reply -

I agree with Ficher Luce! Several light coats letting each coat fully dry will get you a smooth finish.Helpful Reply -

No matter what your painting clean well first. Shake can well before you start and while painting. Paint on a day that humidity is low. Do not paint in direct sunlight. Do not hold can to close to what you are painting. Apply light even coats.Helpful Reply -
