I need help with this

Question

What kind of paint do I use on this? I want to use a pop of color. I am going to start all over with new plants and need help.This pagoda is very heavy and I am not sure what it is made out of, so any suggestions are welcomed.

Concrete paint at your local Home Depot, Lowes etc.... They will tint it for you

Looks much like concrete , just like bird baths. I would use a sealing paint like for bird baths. Just ask them at the store for a sealer paint for outside and they can then tint it what color you like. If you don't seal it it will probably crack and crumble over time.

You could use concrete paint/stain, porch and floor paint or if you are really industrious, and want to go over the top, you could use garage floor epoxy.

I have the same Pagoda for the last 28 years and it's made of concrete...you can use concrete paint or stain ...patio paint.....mine has gone through a range of color in 28 years ....they look great with a light inside, but that requires a little more work or a solar light that fits.

Rustoleum Hammered Copper would look awesome on your pagoda and would hold up to the elements.

I have the same one and it is concrete and I sprayed it with gold paint and it looks and holds up really well.  In the spring when I put it back out I will just give it a shot of fresh paint and good till next spring.

It is probably made of concrete and I also suggest you go to hardware store and purchase a masonry (concrete) paint and they will tint for you at store. Good luck!

A deep Chinese red would really be in keeping with the object and give you a splash of color that you want....If you can find elastomeric paint in a small quantity that's what I would use...It's normally used on stucco because it is not brittle but moves with the changing temperature fluctuations.

Paint it black. Look for spray on paint that includes applications to cement surfaces .

Chalk paint works really well .....sticks like glue! If you want colour, do it in black with a reddish roof....and even a touch of gold.
